Mission

The idea for setting up the Franca Dora Foundation, a nonprofit organization, stems from a wish, originally shared by Groupe Garnier President Joseph Borsellino and Franca Novielli, to provide children with the opportunity to fulfill themselves and grow up healthy.

Set up in 2004, the Foundation’s main mission is to help contribute to the financial support of various organizations involved in improving the health and education of children. The foundation is especially concerned about the wellbeing of all children.

Since its beginning, the Foundation has generously supported hospitals specialized in providing care for children, by enabling them to purchase equipment they could not have afforded otherwise, for lack of funds. These new technologies considerably improve the quality of treatment and help facilitate the work of doctors.

Many other projects aimed at improving the welfare of children have also been initiated through the Foundation’s generous contributions, drawn from the overall profits of these annual events.
